Requirements For Connecting to a Host With Internet Explorer

- Java and ActiveX must be enabled in Internet

Custom Level
(Look at the
various options for ActiveX and set them to
either Prompt
or Enable.)
- If your company uses a Network Firewall, your
network support person will need to allow outbound TCP
port 23 (Telnet) through the firewall for your computer.
This is a very common port and is usually not blocked on
most firewalls.
- If your company uses a network Proxy Server, your
network support person will need to allow Java and ActiveX
traffic to pass through on port 80 and port 23 for your
computer. These are very common and are usually not
blocked on most proxy servers.
